250 cops’ kids in Central Luzon get jabbed vs COVID-19
OLONGAPO CITY––At least 250 children of police in Central Luzon were inoculated against COVID-19 during a mass vaccination Thursday at Camp Olivas in Pampanga province.
The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) said the children belong to the 12-17 age group and are dependents of policemen.
Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay, director of PRO3, said the minors received the first dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.
“This is one way of showing our personnel that we value and we also give priority even to their loved ones, especially their children,” Baccay said in a statement.
The PRO3 has vaccinated 99.47 percent of its 15,691 personnel with the first or second dose of the vaccine against the virus.
