1,172 of 3,927 pass the November 2021 Agriculturist board exams

MANILA, Philippines — Only 30 percent or 1,172 of 3,927 examinees passed the Agriculturist licensure exam, said the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Thursday.

Ella Hazel Barbarona Estrada of the Visayas State University – Baybay topped the list of topnotchers with a score of 86 percent.

In second place was John Carlos Daga-ang Boyles, also from Visayas State University – Baybay who in turn scored 85.83 percent. They were followed by Vivian Espique Timple from the University of the Philippines (UP) Los Baños who had a score of 85.50 percent.

Meanwhile, in terms of school performance, UP Los Baños was named as the only top performing school during the exams with a 100 percent passing rate.

According to the PRC, education institutions are tagged as “top performing schools” when they have more than 50 passing examinees and at least an 80 percent passing rate.

The licensure exams were conducted at PRC testing centers located in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga on November 9 to 11, 2021.
