ANGELES CITY––Policemen confiscated suspected shabu (crystal meth) worth some P183,600 from four alleged drug peddlers arrested in two buy-bust operations Monday in this city.
In a statement, the Police Regional Office 3 identified the suspects as Jaype Pelle, Mark Ian Orpilla, Jayar Payad, and Andy Yap, all of legal age.
Pelle and Orpilla were arrested around 7:30 p.m. in Balibago village. Eight sachets of suspected shabu weighing 21 grams worth about P142,800 were seized from the duo.
A few hours later, in Pampang village, city police arrested Payad and Yap, who allegedly yielded six grams of shabu worth P40,800.
PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay said charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs AAct of 2002 had been filed against the four suspects.
