AN ALL-University of the Visayas (UV) feud will be featured in the main event of the ALA-Summit Natural Drinking Water Fight Night Amateur Boxing Series tomorrow at the Gaisano Countrymall car park.
UV boxing team’s Robert Labanza and Robert Eturma will clash in the 60kg division of the weekly amateur boxing fight card that aims to discover new boxing prospects in the country.
In the undercard, Labanza and Eturma’s teammate Dann Lou Codilla will fight against Mardie Muaña of the Cabancalan Elementary Schoolin under the 56kg division.
Buenavista, Bacolod’s Rolan Perez and Cebu City’s Tiboy Ardiente will also fight in the 56kg division.
Borbon, Cebu’s Ritchie Montealto will go up against Cabancalan, Mandaue’s Cherwellan Cantel in the 52kg division while Talamban Night High School’s Kevin Jake Cataraja will step inside the ring once again to face Welmark Dignos of Flores Boxing Club in the 50kg division.
Mabolo Night High School’s Christian Bacolod will face Rolan Servania of Bacolod in the 50kg division. Rolan is the younger brother of ALA Boxing Gym’s rising boxer, Genesis Servania.
Another boxer from UV Bryan Remedio will fight Melmark Dignos of the Flores Boxing Club in the 47kg division.
Other fights pit Bryan Paden vs. Polid Banal; Jeorge Ledesma vs. Rosfryd Wagas; Romel Tuñacao vs. Rhezon Trama; Ariel Sibay vs. Ramil Casañares; and Vicente Seos-e Jr vs. BB Rama. /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
