Oil companies cut fuel prices for 3rd straight week

MANILA, Philippines — Pump prices of gasoline on Tuesday went down for the third week in a row, this time by 90 centavos per liter to bring the total to P2.25 per liter.

But diesel prices were unchanged while those of kerosene decreased anew for the third time at 10 centavos for a total of P1.05 per liter.

As of this writing, the international benchmark Brent crude was pegged at $81.51 per barrel, sliding from $83.43 per barrel on Nov. 8.

The Asian bellwether Dubai crude oil was pegged at $81.67 per barrel as of Nov. 11, rising from $78.95 per barrel a week earlier.
