Metro Manila remains under Alert Level 2 until Nov. 30
MANILA, Philippines — Metro Manila will remain under alert level 2 until Nov. 30, Malacañang announced in a statement on Saturday.
This developed as the independent OCTA Research Group noted a “slight uptick” in COVID-19 cases in Metro Manila.
“Slight uptick in the 7-day average in the NCR but there is no clear indication yet that the downward trend has plateaued or reversed,” Dr. Guido David, an OCTA fellow, said in a tweet on Friday.
The reproduction number also “slightly increased” to 0.44, according to David.
Metro Manila was placed under Alert Level 2 on Nov. 5.
