This was confirmed to reporters by Justice Undersecretary Adrian Sugay as rumors swirled about the Department of Justice chief being rushed to a medical facility.

“He was not feeling well this morning. He was brought to the hospital,” Sugay told reporters.

“He is under observation and will undergo routine tests. He is okay now,” he added.

By Tuesday late afternoon, Guevarra sent a message to reporters via Viber where he thanked his well-wishers.

“Still confined for more tests. Have had breathing and fatigue problems the past few weeks,” he also said.
