MANILA, Philippines — Almost 30 million individuals in the Philippines are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases and presidential spokesperson Harry Roque reported on Tuesday.
Roque said that 29,809,085 or 38.64 percent of the 77-million target population are fully inoculated against COVID-19 as of November 8.
Meanwhile, 35,138,281 individuals, or 45.55 percent of the target have received their first dose.
In the country’s capital region, Metro Manila, 90.35 percent or 8,832,807 of the 9.8-million target population are fully inoculated.
The number of individuals who received their first dose, meantime, is 9,718,073 or 99.40 percent.
On Monday, 749,424 COVID-19 doses were administered.
The government is targeting to ramp up daily immunization into one million to 1.5 million starting November 20.
