Olongapo on a streak: Another day of zero COVID case, death
OLONGAPO CITY-The city on Sunday (Nov. 7) had zero new COVID case and death, local data showed.
According to the local task force on COVID response, the improving numbers in the city’s COVID situation further brought down to 36 the city’s active COVID-19 cases, its lowest since March 26.
Since last month, the city has already posted zero daily COVID-19 cases and deaths at least four times.
Two more recoveries were also recorded on Sunday, raising to 5, 092 the number of of patients who overcame the disease out of 5, 438 confirmed cases since 2020. It reflected a 94-percent recovery rate.
The city’s COVID-19 death toll still stood at 310, the same data showed.
