SAN ANTONIO, Zambales––The province will begin its pediatric vaccination for eligible children without comorbidities within the 12-17 age group, according to an official.

Dr. Noel Bueno of the provincial health office told the Inquirer that minors within this category could now get to rural health units in the province for assessment by a medical doctor and get the shots.

Last week, the province also started its vaccination of minors 12 through 17 years old but with comorbidities.

At least 150 eligible children under this category received the vaccine against the viral disease on Nov. 5

Several hospitals have been tapped to accommodate pediatric vaccination. These are the San Marcelino District, President Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Hospital, Candelaria District Hospital and the Ospital ng Sta. Cruz. INQ
