LUCENA CITY––A motorcycle rider and two others suffered injuries after their vehicles collided with a tricycle in San Luis town in Batangas province early Monday.
San Luis police reported that John Dave Atienza, 20, was negotiating the national highway when he hit an oncoming tricycle driven by Odip Villalobos in Barangay Muzon at 12:21 a.m.
Atienza, Villalobos, and his back-rider, Ranjay Ursua, all suffered injuries and were taken to two hospitals for treatment.
The report said Atienza occupied the opposite lane that resulted in the collision.
Police are conducting further investigation.
