Man catches wife, policeman in Quezon hotel using GPS

MANILA, Philippines — Using a global positioning system (GPS), a man caught his wife with a policeman in a hotel in Quezon province.

Based on a spot report of the Philippine National Police (PNP), the incident happened on November 5, 2:30 p.m. in Barangay Bocohan, Lucena City.

The husband called for police assistance in following his wife after the GPS location showed she was in a hotel.

At the hotel room, the victim caught a PNP member, who was assigned at the Quezon Provincial Health Service Unit, only covered with a towel. The victim’s wife, meanwhile, was naked.

The two suspects are “believed to be having sexual relationship,” the PNP said.

The wife was arrested for adultery but the policeman managed to escape.

Under Article 333 of the Revised Penal Code, adultery refers to an extra marital relationship of a woman to a man other than her husband. The wife and the man would be charged together.
