Over 28.7 million Filipinos now fully vaccinated vs COVID-19, says Palace

MANILA, Philippines — More than 28.71 million Filipinos are now fully vaccinated against the dreaded COVID-19, Malacañang announced Friday.

During a Palace briefing, presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said the country has administered 62,474,334 doses of various COVID-19 vaccines as of Thursday, November 4.

He also said that the country’s vaccination rate is now at 37.23-percent as 28,718,856 individuals have already completed their inoculation against the virus.

Meanwhile, Roque said 33,755,478 or 43.76 percent of the target population have received their first dose.

The Palace official also reported that over 1.7 million doses of Pfizer procured by the government through the help of the Asian Development Bank will be delivered to the country this weekend.
