Over P400K shabu seized in Naga City sting
LEGAZPI CITY — Suspected shabu (crystal meth) worth about P408,000 was seized from a suspect at a drug sting Tuesday night in Naga City in Camarines Sur province, police report said Wednesday.
Erwin Princesa, 41, a high-value illegal drug peddler residing in Barangay Calauag, was caught selling a sachet of shabu worth P5,000 to an undercover agent at around 10:50 p.m. in Barangay Sta. Cruz, according to Police Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson.
Princesa yielded a total of 60 grams of shabu amounting to P408,000, the report said.
The suspect was taken to the city custodial facility while police are readying the filing of charges for possession and peddling of illegal drugs under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
