SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Eleven of this province’s 13 towns registered zero new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, October 31, local health data showed.
According to the provincial health office, the six new infections logged on Sunday were recorded in the towns of Botolan (2) and Candelaria (4). It was the lowest daily tally in the province last month.
The province’s active cases stood at 256 after seven more recoveries were also recorded on Sunday.
So far, Zambales has registered 9, 690 confirmed COVID-19 cases since last year but 9,185 of these had been given a clean bill of health. It reflected a 95-percent recovery rate.
A total of 103,137 residents of the province had already been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, the provincial health office said.
