COVID-19 testing, vaccination in Taguig may be set via TRACE
MANILA, Philippines — Residents of Taguig City may now schedule their COVID-19 testing and vaccination online through its contact tracing application TRACE, the city public information office announced Monday.
TRACE stands for Taguig Registry for Access and Citizen Engagement.
“We always make it a point to find ways to improve our services. Taguig is very keen on adapting to the new technology and making use of this in our programs,” Taguig City Mayor Lino Cayetano said in a statement.
“In Taguig, we make sure that our services can be accessed by all Taguigeños from different walks of life,” he added.
Currently, free COVID-19 testing is offered in 31 health centers, Lakeshore and Bonifacio Global City drive-thru testing sites, Park N’ Test in Vista Mall Parking Building, Taguig Mega Swabbing Facility, and mobile testing truck.
As of October 30, the city government conducted 221,347 reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction tests.
