MANILA, Philippines — Generally fair weather is expected to prevail over most of the country on Monday, with only weak short-lived rains forecasted during the afternoon until evening, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

(In Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, the weather will generally be clear tomorrow but due to the northeastern monsoon we are still expecting light rains.)

(But here in Palawan we expect thunderstorms, often in the afternoon or evening.)

The entire Visayas and Mindanao will also experience good weather conditions with short-lived rain showers only expected to occur during the afternoon and evening.

No bad weather or typhoons that could possibly affect our country in the next 2 or 3 days is also being monitored, said Clauren.
