OLONGAPO CITY—The city will start the COVID-19 vaccination for minors who are 12 to 17 years old starting November 4, the local health office said on Friday, Oct. 29.
A total of 150 minors who have comorbidities will be inoculated as part of the launching of the mass vaccination, which will continue on November 5 and November 8-12.
According to the city government, the vaccination will be held at the James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital.
The online registration has already started in the city for the pilot immunization of young residents.
So far, at least 143, 963 eligible residents in the city have received either the first or second dose of the vaccine against the viral disease.
The city targets to inoculate 70 percent or 182,000 of its 260,000-population to achieve herd immunity against COVID-19.
