MANILA, Philippines — The national pandemic task force has approved the gradual increase in passenger capacity of road and railway – based public transportation in Metro Manila and nearby provinces starting Nov. 4, Malacañang announced Friday.
From the current 50% passenger capacity, this will be increased to 70% up to 100%, presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said.
The Department of Transportation (DOTr) has expressed its intention to have the capacity of public transportation in Metro Manila restored to 100%.
