3 drug suspects nabbed, P214K 'shabu' seized in Zambales

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Police in Iba on Tuesday (Oct. 26) arrested three suspected drug dealers and seized P214,000 worth of crystal meth during an anti-narcotics operation.

Col. Romano Cardiño, police provincial director, identified the suspects as Alenor Barasar, 43; Doblon Ampoan, 48; and Jalil Dimao, 34.

According to Cardiño, an undercover police agent managed to buy a sachet of shabu from Barasar during the operation in Barangay Dirita.

At least 37 more sachets of shabu weighing about 31 grams were seized from the suspects when they were accosted.

The trio will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
