Man nabbed in Puerto Princesa City buy-bust

CITY OF CALAPAN – A man was arrested by police and personnel of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Tuesday evening in a buy-bust operation in Puerto Princesa City in Palawan province, according to a report from Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan) police.

Argie Soriao, 31, a resident of Barangay (village) San Manuel, was arrested at 7:05 p.m. after selling a sachet of suspected shabu (crystal meth) to a poseur buyer for P1,500 in Barangay San Jose.

Also confiscated from him were four sachets weighing about .065 grams and valued at P4,000.

Suspect is under police custody and will be facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
