11 villages in Zambales town free of COVID-19 again
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Eleven of the 18 villages in San Marcelino town have become free of COVID-19 again after posting zero active cases on Monday, October 25, local data showed.
These are Aglao, Buhawen, Burgos, Central, Consuelo Norte, Laoag, La Paz, Nagbunga, Rizal, San Guillermo, and Sta. Fe.
Among these villages, Aglao and Sta. Fe had been posting zero active infections since September.
So far, the entire San Marcelino has 14 active COVID-19 cases out of the 649 confirmed cases since last year.
Its number of recoveries has reached 600, reflecting a 92.4-recovery rate, and its death toll stood at 35. INQ
