CamSur drug busts: 3 arrested, over P1.1 M shabu seized
LEGAZPI CITY – Police arrested three drug suspects and seized over P1.1 million worth of shabu (crystal meth) in separate buy-bust operations in Camarines Sur on Saturday.
Police Major Divino John Pelea, Nabua town police chief, said Sharon Barela, 41, was arrested in an operation in Barangay (village) Inapatan at around 7:30 p.m.
Police recovered a sachet of shabu worth P2,500.
In Camaligan town, Armando Del Rosario, 51, and Gil San Buenaventura, 52, were also arrested in Barangay San Roque at around 2:20 p.m.
Camaligan police chief Capt. John Angelo Romeroso, said the suspects sold a knot-tied sachet or 25 grams of shabu with an estimated value of P170,000 to an undercover agent.
Article continues after this advertisementDuring the body search, the police recovered another 146 grams of shabu worth an estimated P980,000 from the two suspects.
Romeroso said the suspects were both listed in the illegal drugs watch list.
