Woman nabbed in Oriental Mindoro town with P9K worth of shabu

CITY OF CALAPAN – A woman was arrested by police and personnel of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on Saturday morning in Bansud town in Oriental Mindoro province while in possession of P9,000 worth of suspected shabu (crystal meth).

A report from the police provincial office said Angeline Lugmao, 42, was arrested by authorities armed with a search warrant for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 at 6:50 a.m. in Barangay Poblacion. The warrant was dated October 21, 2021, and issued by Judge Emery Joy Jabal Ma-Jabal, presiding judge of Gloria-Bansud municipal circuit trial court.

Confiscated from the suspect were nine small sachets and a large opened sachet of shabu weighing about 0.09 grams valued at P9,000.

The suspect is now under police custody.
