Rama Boys beat Datche in friendly duel

THE Rama Boys trounced Datche Automation System, 91-85, Wednesday night in a friendly hardcourt showdown at the Vicente Sotto Memorial gym in barangay Punta Princesa, Cebu City.

The Rama Boys set the tone of the rout when it jumped to an impressive 23-11 run in the first quarter and kept its spot in the driver’s seat for the next three quarters.

Datche had its best performance in the fourth period where it outscored Rama, 35-28 to cut its deficit to just six points but still failed to overhaul the latter’s bug lead.

Power-forward Noel Talas and triggerman Jingjing Rama led Rama Boys with 18 and 12 points, respectively, while Elvis Federico and Charlie Petiluna paced Datche with 21 and 20 points, respectively.
