24 vax sites included in phase 2 of COVID-19 immunization of children — NVOC

MANILA, Philippines — Twenty-four vaccination sites are included in phase 2 of the vaccination of children against COVID-19, based on the initial list of the National Vaccination Operation Center (NVOC) released on Wednesday.

During the Laging Handa briefing, NVOC’s Dr. Kezia Rosario said that the phase 2 vaccination sites include hospitals that participated in the pilot pediatric inoculation.

Last week, eight hospitals participated in the pilot COVID-19 inoculation of around 1,000 children with comorbidities.

“We had din na mga (we also had) LGUs, due to limitation ng (of) spaces ng (of the) hospital, have negotiated with us to use several of their nearby facilities as vaccination sites,” she added.
