Only 150 of Central Luzon’s 15,452 cops remain unvaccinated vs COVID-19

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga––Only 150 of the 15,452 police officers in Central Luzon remained unvaccinated against COVID-19, the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) Health Service disclosed on Tuesday, Oct. 19.

The PRO 3 has a total strength of 12,739, while the support units have a combined workforce of 2,307, it said.

The health service said 13,287 or 86 percent of the police officers in the region had been inoculated fully against COVID-19, while 2,015 were waiting for their second dose.

The health service said 12,581 police officers had been vaccinated by the local government, where they were assigned as frontline personnel, while 2,721 had been jabbed by the PRO3 Medical and Dental Unit in Camp Julian Olivas in the City of San Fernando.
