4-vehicle accident snarls traffic on Edsa southbound lane

MANILA, Philippines — An accident along the southbound lane of EDSA from Quezon Avenue to Ortigas snarled traffic Wednesday morning although the area of the accident has since been cleared, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said.

Edward Gonzales, head of the Road Emergency Group of the MMDA, could not give details as of posting time except to say that several persons in the incident involving a truck, two vans and a car have been rushed to the nearest hospital. Karen Boncocan
