CHI turns 17, gives free laboratory services
LAST Feb. 14, Perpetual Succour Hospital’s Cebu Heart Institute (CHI) gave free laboratory services to all interested individuals in celebration of their 17th anniversary.
A total of 74 patients availed of fasting blood sugar screening, cholesterol screening, anemia screening, complete lipid panel, ECG and wet sampling (Ensure and Nutren) from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the CHI’s Cardiovascular Laboratory.
The activity ended at noon with a Mass presided by Fr. Rene Tacastacas, SJ.

CHI was inaugurated on Feb. 14, 1994. It earned for the hospital a name of having pioneered significant medical advances in education and service.
