Drug suspect killed, another nabbed in Naga City buy-busts
LEGAZPI CITY––A drug suspect was killed, while another was arrested in separate buy-bust operations Monday in Naga City in Camarines Sur province, a police report said Tuesday.
Master Sergeant Tobias Bongon, the Naga police spokesperson, said Marvin Valenzuela drew his gun and fired at the police when he sensed that he was transacting with an undercover agent at a sting in Barangay San Felipe around 11:45 p.m. The policeman fired back and hit him, killing him instantly.
The report said Valenzuela was selling shabu (crystal meth) worth P7,500 to the agent.
In Barangay Sabang, Orlando Porcalla, 48, was arrested in a separate buy-bust operation around 7 p.m.
The police confiscated three sachets of shabu worth P10,000.
Both suspects were on the illegal drugs watch list of the police.
