13 more COVID-19 deaths logged in Zambales

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales – As this province continued to implement stricter protocols due to COVID-19, at least 13 new deaths related to the viral disease in the last two days.

Latest data from the provincial health office showed that the province’s death toll increased to 485 as of Sunday (Oct. 17).

The number of active cases, on the other hand, dropped to 526 as 105 more recoveries were listed during the same period.

At least 66 new cases were also added to the local health data, pushing to 9,418 the total number of COVID-19 cases since the epidemic struck last year.

The recovery rate remained high at 92.15 percent, with at least 8,707 patients getting healed from the disease. INQ
