2 drug suspects busted in Camarines Norte, P97.5 K shabu seized

LEGAZPI CITY – Police arrested a high-value drug suspect and his cohort in a buy-bust operation in Jose Panganiban, Camarines Norte and seized an estimated P97,500 worth of shabu (crystal meth) early Sunday.

Colonel Julius Guadamor, Camarines Norte police chief, identified the arrested suspects as Arlan Silvio, 45, and his cohort Andy Mark Magana, 29, both residents of Labo town in the said province.

Guadamor said Silvio sold a sachet of shabu to an undercover agent in Barangay Sta. Rosa Sur at around 2:30 a.m.

Silvio was tagged as a member of the “Rey Gutierrez Drug Group” operating in the province.

Police recovered three sachets of shabu from Silvio and one more from Magana.

The suspects are facing a complaint for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
