Another 'drug den' busted in Subic

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales – Police arrested five suspected drug traders after raiding another alleged drug den in Subic town on Friday (Oct. 15) morning.

Col. Romano Cardiño, police provincial director, identified the suspects as Mario Flores, 47; Rodelio Layug, 45; Joel Lazo, 40; Francis dela Cruz, 46 and Andres Capistrano, 47.

It was the second drug den that anti-narcotics agents dismantled in two straight days.

Seized from suspects were seven plastic sachets containing alleged “shabu” (crystal meth) weighing 19 grams worth P129,000, drug paraphernalia, and the P500 buy-bust money.

The suspects will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
