MANILA, Philippines — Anything is possible until November 15, presidential aspirant Sen. Manny Pacquiao said Friday when asked on a possible team-up with Vice President Leni Robredo who is also vying for the top government post in next year’s elections.
While both Pacquiao and Robredo have filed their certificates of candidacy (COC) for president, the senator said he is still open to the possibility of teaming up with the vice president, especially as the Commission on Elections (Comelec) allows substitution of candidates until November 15.
(Anything can happen until November 15, anything’s possible. We are not closing our doors, but I am happy with my vice presidential running mate, Lito Atienza.)
Back in August, Robredo admitted holding talks with Pacquiao for a unified ticket in the 2022 elections.
