“Mayroon kaming senatorial line-up. Hindi lang namin binuo dahil maraming guest candidates sa ating mga senador at hindi naman natin sila kino-korner dahil senatorial ang tinatakbuhan nila.. so pwede silang mag-guest candidate,” Pacquiao said in an interview on ABS-CBN News Channel.

(We have a senatorial line-up. We did not complete it because there are many guest candidates for senators and we are not cornering them… they can choose to be guest candidates.)

“Pito o walo yung senatorial line-up natin. May bakante pa dahil yung ibang kandidato na gustong mag-apply na guest candidate ay open tayo,” he added.

(We have seven or eight in our senatorial line-up. We are open to those who want to apply as guest candidates.)

Pacquiao earlier filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) for president, with House Deputy Speaker and former Manila mayor Lito Atienza as his running mate.
