13 more COVID-19 deaths logged in Zambales

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales––Thirteen patients died of COVID-19 in Zambales, according to the Oct. 12 provincial data that showed zero deaths in the last five days.

These fatalities raised to 452 the province’s death toll, said Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director.

The province had at least 300 more COVID-19 patients, which pushed to 9,249 the total number of cases reported since the pandemic started.

Despite this, the recovery rate in the province remained high at 90.74 percent, with 8,393 virus-infected individuals cleared of COVID-19.

The number of active cases in the province went down further to 704, the same data showed.
