OLONGAPO CITY — The bed occupancy rate of the three of four hospitals treating COVID-19 patients in this city were back to a safe level, data from the Department of Health showed on Tuesday, Oct. 12.

These are the James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital, St. Jude Medical Center, and Zambales Medical Mission Group Coop Hospital, which all posted less than 60 percent bed occupancy rate.

Only the Mother and Child General Hospital has a moderate bed occupancy rate. Two of its six COVID-19 beds have yet to be occupied.

The four hospitals have a combined occupancy rate of 53.8 percent, the same DOH data showed.

However, all of the intensive care unit beds of the city had been occupied as of Tuesday.
