Body retrieved from landslide-hit house in Baguio; 2 kids missing

BAGUIO CITY––Rescue personnel retrieved Tuesday the body of a man trapped inside a house buried in a landslide in this city, authorities said.

The fatality was from Barangay Dominican-Mirador, according to the city disaster risk reduction and management office.

Two other occupants of the house, both children, remained missing, while another resident suffered injuries.

Several incidents of landslides were reported in the city due to incessant rains Monday spawned by Severe Tropical Storm “Maring” (Kompasu). Inquirer Northern Luzon
