Woman nabbed in Occidental Mindoro buy-bust
CITY OF CALAPAN — Police and personnel of the Philippine Drugs Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested a newly-identified alleged drug pusher in a buy-bust operation Monday night in San Jose town in Occidental Mindoro province, according to a report from Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan) police.
Teresita Maglantay, 49, was arrested around 10:30 p.m. after selling to a poseur buyer a sachet of suspected shabu (crystal meth) weighing about .01 gram and valued at 1,000 in Barangay (village) Caminawit.
Confiscated from the suspect was a piece of unsealed sachet containing 10 smaller sealed sachets of suspected shabu weighing about one gram and valued at P10,000.
Suspect is under police custody and will be facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
