Palawan drug suspect falls

Cops arrest Dawlah Islamiyah subleader in Maguindanao

CITY OF CALAPAN – Police arrested a drug suspect during a buy-bust operation Saturday afternoon in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.

Jeffrey Arruira, 26, was arrested at around 5:50 p.m. after selling a sachet of shabu (crystal meth) worht an estimated P1,000 to an undercover agent in Barangay (village) Tanglaw.

Police Corporal Rodel Embanecido said two more sachets of shabu were recovered from the suspect.

The suspect, a resident of Brooke’s Point,  is under police custody and will be facing a formal complaint for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
