MANILA, Philippines — More than 1.3 million doses of Moderna vaccines arrived in the country on Saturday, vaccine czar Carlito Galvez reported.

The shipment arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 at around 4 p.m.

Galvez said the 1,360,300 procured Moderna doses are part of the 11th batch of various vaccines that have been delivered in the country in just a span of nine days.

“This is a remarkable development to our vaccine supply in the country,” Galvez told reporters after the vaccine arrived. “We call it: ‘this is now our harvest time.’”

Galvez said there are now 85,575,600 delivered vaccine doses in the country as of Saturday.

He added that more than 23 million are fully vaccinated in the country.
