MANILA, Philippines — Many parts of Luzon and the entire Visayas and Mindanao will experience rainy weather on Sunday due to Tropical Storm (TS) Maring, the state weather bureau said on Saturday.
Pagasa, in its 4 p.m. report, said the center of TS Maring was estimated to be at 735 kilometer east of Catarman, Northern Samar. It is packing maximum sustained winds of 85 kilometers per hour (kph) with gustiness of up to 105 kph.
The entire Visayas, Mindanao, Mimaropa and Bicol Region will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon is expected to have fair weather conditions with partly cloudy to cloudy skies, with chances of isolated rain showers due to thunderstorms.
Pagasa said despite the development, there are no Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals (TCWS) raised in any parts of the country due to Maring.
Meanwhile, TD Nando is estimated to be at 905 kms east of Central Luzon, with maximum sustained winds of 45 kph, with gustiness of up to 55 kph, moving west southwestward, according to Pagasa.
The eastern seaboard of the entire country will experience moderate to rough sea conditions with 1.2 to 4.0 meters of waves, while seaboards in other parts of the country will experience slight to moderate sea condition with 0.6 to 2.5 meters of waves.
