MANILA, Philippines — Actor Robin Padilla filed on Friday his certificate of candidacy (COC) to join the Senate race in the 2022 elections.
He will run under the ruling PDP-Laban under the faction headed by Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi. He earlier took his oath as a new member of the party.
Before filing his COC, Padilla was seen with President Rodrigo Duterte at the Harbor Garden Tent of Sofitel in Pasay City where the main filing of candidacies was being held.
