Cops nab suspected drug pusher in Calapan City bust

CITY OF CALAPAN – A suspected drug pusher was arrested by police Sunday in a buy-bust in this city, according to a report from the Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan) police.

Police arrested Rommel Cueto, 37 and a resident of Barangay (village) Silonay, at 11:15 a.m. after selling a sachet of suspected shabu (crystal meth) to a poseur buyer for P500 in Barangay Libis.

Confiscated from the suspect were four sachets of suspected shabu weighing about 1.64 grams and valued at P11,152.

The suspect is now under police custody and will be facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
