MANILA, Philippines — Over 1.8 million doses of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Sunday.
The National Task Force Against COVID-19 said 1,813,500 doses donated by the United States government through the COVAX facility of arrived at 3:30a.m.
As of October 2, the Philippines has received 75,597,140 COVID-19 vaccine doses.
A total of 48,719,770 doses were procured by the national government, 17,840,230 doses were donated through the COVAX Facility, 5,398,000 were procured by local government units and private sector while 3,639,140 doses donated by several nations.
Meanwhile, a total of 21,560,795 individuals in the Philippines are now fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
