Female farmer files COC for Bohol governor
TAGBILARAN CITY — A farmer on Friday filed her certificate of candidacy (COC) in a bid to become Bohol’s governor.
Concepcion Tapayan Flores, 54, a resident of Poblacion Centro of Tubigon town, arrived at past 3 p.m. at the Commission on Elections provincial office.
Flores, the first aspirant to file a COC, had no companion when she filed her COC.
In 2018, she also ran as governor of Bohol but lost during the elections.
Since she had no Certificate of Nomination and Appointment (CONA), Flores was considered an independent candidate.
