MANILA, Philippines—Only 15 percent of the Supreme Court’s workforce will be physically present for work starting on Friday (Oct. 1).

This was “notwithstanding any modification of the alert level guidelines in Metro Manila,” said in a memorandum issued by Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo.

Employees who would be physically present in their offices, on a rotation basis, are to be determined by their supervisors. Those not required to be physically present at work will have to work from home.

Workers who are required to work physically but who live in areas that are on lockdown would be replaced by those residing in areas with lower alert levels.
