MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is set to conduct reblocking and repairs on portions of Edsa, C-5 Road and España Boulevard in Metro Manila this weekend.
In a traffic advisory, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced that the DPWH road reblocking will begin on Friday, Oct. 1, 11 p.m., until Oct. 4.
The reblocking and repairs will cover the areas along EDSA Caloocan (Southbound) after B. Serrano St. (4th lane from sidewalk), C-5 Road Northbound before Mckinley (4th lane), España Boulevard (from Extremadura St. to M. Dela Fuente St.), C.P Garcia Ave. before Krus na Ligas (2nd lane from sidewalk) and EDSA Tramo Flyover Aurora Blvd. (Tramo Off Ramp) in Pasay City.
Motorists were advised to avoid the said roads and use alternate routes instead.
MMDA said the affected roads would be fully passable by 5 a.m. on Monday, October 4.
