MANILA, Philippines — Manila City Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso and Dr. Willie Ong will file their respective certificates of candidacy (COCs) on October 4.
Ong revealed this Thursday in a Teleradyo interview, speaking only for the two of them and could not say if others in their slate would also do the same on Monday.
He disclosed no further details.
“Sabay kami magfa-file. May date na kami. May oras na. Hindi kami sa Friday… October 4 po,” Ong revealed, adding that they will personally file their COCs at a tent designated by the Commission on Elections in Pasay City.
(We’ll file together. We have a date and time. We’ll not file on Friday but on October 4.)

“Ang alam ko lang si Yorme tsaka ako. Pero hindi ko alam kung sino pa ‘yung mga ibang kasama,” Ong answered.
(What I only know is Yorme and me. But I don’t know who else would join us.)
The vice presidential aspirant also did not divulge any names in their senatorial slate, saying he is not at liberty to tell but noted they may not fill the 12 slots for senators.
On September 22, Moreno and Ong officially launched their tandem as president and vice president, respectively, in the 2022 elections.
