Typhoon Mindulle will no longer enter PAR, says Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines — Typhoon Mindulle would no longer enter the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR), the state weather bureau said Thursday.
Mindulle was last spotted 1,560 kilometers east-northeast of extreme Northern Luzon, heading toward the eastern coast of Japan, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
Since Mindulle continued to move away from the PAR and would not enter the country’s vicinity anymore, it would no longer be named “Lannie,” according to weather specialist Benison Estareja.
The trough of Mindulle, however, will affect parts of Luzon and Visayas.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms.
